1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FF Recharge mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and FF Recharge ("we," "us," "our").

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App. Continued use of the App signifies acceptance of these Terms and any future modifications.

2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to use the App. By using FF Recharge, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • You will provide accurate information and use the App for lawful purposes only.
  • You are not barred from using the App under any applicable Indian law.

3 Description of Services

FF Recharge is a digital utility platform that offers the following services:

Mobile Recharge (Prepaid)

Prepaid mobile recharge for major Indian telecom operators, including Jio, Airtel, Vi (Vodafone Idea), and BSNL.

DTH Recharge

Direct-to-Home television recharges for Airtel DTH, Dish TV, Sun Direct, Tata Play, and Videocon d2h.

Digital Wallet

A secure in-app wallet that lets you add funds via UPI, net-banking, or debit / credit card and use the balance for any supported transaction inside the App.

Paid Verification Services

  • RC Verification: Vehicle registration lookup that returns owner, model, RC status, insurance, and related details for a vehicle number you submit.
  • Bank Account Finder: Returns bank accounts associated with a mobile number you submit.
  • UPI Finder: Returns UPI IDs associated with a mobile number you submit.

Each verification service carries a fixed charge that is deducted from your wallet before the lookup. The current charge is displayed inside the App and may be revised from time to time.

Cashback & Referral Program

We may offer cashback on eligible recharges based on operator / amount slabs published inside the App, and a referral program that rewards users for inviting new users. Cashback and referral rules are subject to change at our discretion.

Support Chat

An in-app live support chat where you can raise queries, disputes, and complaints. Replies are delivered through the App and via push notifications.

4 User Registration & MPIN

To use the App you must register an account by providing a valid Indian mobile number. Registration involves:

  • OTP Verification: A one-time password (OTP) is sent to your mobile number via SMS. Entering the correct OTP completes registration.
  • MPIN Setup: After OTP verification you must set a 4-digit MPIN (Mobile Personal Identification Number). The MPIN is your primary authentication method inside the App and is required to authorize transactions.
  • Profile Completion: You may optionally add a name, email address, and profile photo.
  • Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your MPIN and account credentials. All activity conducted through your account is your responsibility.

Never share your MPIN with anyone. FF Recharge support will NEVER ask for your MPIN via call, SMS, email, or chat.

5 Wallet & Payments

Adding Money

You can add funds to your FF Recharge wallet using:

  • UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
  • Net Banking
  • Debit Cards / Credit Cards

All payments are processed through a certified PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway provider. FF Recharge does not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking password.

Wallet Balance

  • Wallet balances are non-transferable to other users.
  • Wallet balances cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred to a bank account.
  • Wallet balances have no expiry as long as your account is active.

Transaction Records

Every wallet addition, recharge debit, verification charge, refund, and cashback credit is recorded in your Transaction History inside the App.

6 Mobile & DTH Recharge Services

Processing

When you initiate a recharge, the App routes your request through an authorized recharge API provider and the respective telecom / DTH operator. Recharges are typically processed instantly but may take up to 24 hours in exceptional cases.

Success, Failure, and Pending Status

Every recharge is recorded with one of the following statuses:

  • Success: The operator has confirmed that the recharge was completed.
  • Failed: The operator rejected the request. The deducted amount is automatically refunded to your FF Recharge wallet.
  • Processing / Pending: The operator has not yet confirmed the outcome. The App continues to poll the operator and updates the status when a final response is received.

Operator Responsibility

FF Recharge acts only as an intermediary platform. Plan benefits, validity, tariff changes, activation delays, coverage issues, and similar matters are the sole responsibility of the respective telecom or DTH operator. We are not liable for operator-driven issues.

Always double-check the mobile number, operator, and plan amount before confirming a recharge. Successful recharges cannot be reversed.

7 Paid Verification Services

RC Verification, Bank Account Finder, and UPI Finder are paid information-retrieval services. By using them you agree that:

  • The charge displayed inside the App will be deducted from your wallet before the lookup is performed.
  • Data returned by the lookup is sourced from an upstream third-party data provider and is provided on an "as-is" basis. FF Recharge does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the data.
  • If the upstream provider returns an error, no result, or a system failure, the deducted charge is automatically refunded to your wallet.
  • You will use the returned data only for lawful personal purposes. You will not use it to harass, stalk, defraud, or harm any person.
  • Successful lookups are final. If a valid result is returned, the charge is non-refundable even if the information is not useful to you.

Misuse of lookup data — including unauthorized sharing, commercial resale, or use for harassment — may result in immediate account termination and referral to law-enforcement authorities.

8 Cashback & Referral Program

Cashback

  • Cashback is calculated based on operator-specific slab rules published inside the App.
  • Cashback is credited to your FF Recharge wallet after the corresponding recharge is confirmed as successful.
  • Cashback on a recharge that later fails is reversed together with the original debit.
  • FF Recharge reserves the right to modify, reduce, or discontinue cashback rates at any time without prior notice.

Referral Program

  • Each user receives a unique referral code that may be shared with new users.
  • Referral rewards, if any, are credited to the referrer's wallet according to the rules displayed inside the App at the time of referral.
  • Creating multiple accounts or using fake accounts to claim referral rewards is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of wallet balance and permanent account termination.

9 Refund Policy

Detailed refund terms are covered in our dedicated Refund Policy. Key points:

  • Failed recharges: Automatic refund to FF Recharge wallet, usually within minutes.
  • Failed verification lookups: Automatic refund to FF Recharge wallet.
  • Failed wallet top-ups: Automatic reconciliation; if not credited within 48 hours contact support with the transaction ID.
  • Successful recharges or successful lookups: Non-refundable.
  • Refund method: All refunds are issued exclusively to the FF Recharge wallet. No refunds are issued in cash, to bank accounts, cards, or UPI.

10 User Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: Provide accurate mobile number, DTH number, vehicle number, or lookup input. We are not liable for wrong numbers or incorrect plans selected by you.
  • Lawful Use: Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Indian laws.
  • Single Account: Each user may maintain only one account. Multiple accounts to exploit referral or cashback programs are prohibited.
  • Secure Device: Keep your phone and MPIN secure. Log out of shared devices.
  • Legitimate Payment Sources: Only use payment instruments that belong to you or are authorized for your use.

11 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the App.
  • Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to interact with the App.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, MPIN lockouts, or other security controls.
  • Use stolen, counterfeit, or unauthorized payment instruments.
  • Abuse the referral or cashback program through fake accounts, circular referrals, or coordinated exploitation.
  • Use lookup data (RC, Bank, UPI) to harass, stalk, impersonate, defraud, or harm any person.
  • Upload unlawful, obscene, or infringing content through the profile photo feature or support chat attachments.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written permission.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of wallet balance, and referral to law-enforcement authorities.

12 Intellectual Property

All content inside the FF Recharge App — including the name, logo, design, user interface, graphics, icons, text, software code, and underlying technology — is the exclusive intellectual property of FF Recharge and its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.
  • Use the FF Recharge brand, logo, or content for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice inside the App.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Operator Issues: FF Recharge is not responsible for issues caused by telecom / DTH operators, including plan changes, service outages, incorrect plan benefits, or delayed activations.
  • Upstream Data Accuracy: Verification-service results depend on upstream third-party data sources. FF Recharge does not warrant accuracy, completeness, or currency.
  • Network & Gateway Issues: We are not liable for transaction failures caused by your network connectivity, device issues, or outages at a third-party payment gateway.
  • Indirect Damages: In no event shall FF Recharge be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Service Availability: We aim for uninterrupted service but do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times. Maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues may cause temporary disruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount charged by us for the specific transaction in question.

14 Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions.
  • We detect fraudulent, suspicious, or unauthorized activity on your account.
  • You misuse the referral, cashback, or verification services.
  • You create multiple accounts or engage in any form of system exploitation.
  • Your activity is deemed harmful to the platform, other users, our partners, or the public.

Upon termination, your access to the App is revoked, and remaining wallet balance may be forfeited depending on the reason for termination. If termination is not due to a policy violation, we will make reasonable efforts to let you use your remaining wallet balance.

You may also voluntarily delete your account at any time — see the "Account & Data Deletion" section of our Privacy Policy.

15 Changes to These Terms

We may modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting inside the App or on our website. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes through in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the App is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
